“The Practical Application of ABA to Self-Help Skills” Conference – Korea

Parents of children with ASD or developmental delays always found it difficult to improve their children’s toilet training and eating habits, which are the most essential life skills for the children to live with. Particularly for toileting training, there are many non-scientifically and unproved methods prevailed which may cause confusion to the parents and lead to the undesirable effect. In addition, many parents are with concern of how to help their children with a serious aversion to many food to overcome avoidance and pickiness on food.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of establishment of the AP Hong Kong, AP Korea invited two ASD experts with rich experiences on providing expertized solutions to the above problems that many parents concerned with. Through the conference, parents can learn how the APM is applied to the toilet training and eating habits with video examples. Tracee Parker has over 30 years conducting treatment and research in the field of ABA, Autism and Developmental Disabilities, with a particular concentration on social/sexual development, education, victimization and intervention.

Daeun Son has a master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and she is a founding member and currently working as a senior supervisor of AP Korea

  • If you need the Participation Certificate, please apply from the “Application Form of Participation Certificate” at the reception desk on the conference day. It will be sent to your registered email within 2 weeks after the conference.
  • To apply for Continue Education Credits, please have sign-in in related Forms at reception desk upon arrival.
  • BCBA who needs to apply for the BCBA credits, please fill-in your BCBA number and sign in and out 4 times on the “Attendance List for BCBA” sheet (signature is required for arrival, lunch break, and departure). The BCBA Participation Certificate will be sent to your registered email within 2 weeks after the conference.
  • Each Registration No. is for ONE participant ONLY, the number cannot be shared with others either other family members/members of a group (will have admission identification checking).
  • Adults only, children under the age of 16 are not allowed to enter.
  • Refund is only available by Oct. 25 with less a 20% service fee. Not eligible for any refund after that.
  • If necessary, you can transfer your admission to others ONCE. Notification must be provided to AP at least 7 working days prior to the conference date for changing the registration list.
